John Alexander Bell, 82, of Eureka, died in a Eureka hospital Thursday, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Ontario, Canada. He was employed most of his working life as a commercial chauffeur. Upon his retirement he had resided in Eureka.
He is survived by a wife, daughter, Mrs. G. D. Flora, Eureka; brother, James Bell, Glendale; sister, Mrs. Charles W. Stevens, Los Angeles; and two grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held from the Cooper Mortuary, Chapen of the Ferns, on Saturday. Inurnment will follow at Ocean View Crematory.
