A loyal, unselfish individual with a mischievous side and big heart, who was generous to all, Chris loved his family and friends.
Received an Associate's Degree in Business Management from Spartanburg Community College in 2016, was employed by Milliken & Company in Jonesville, and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Brandon Gibson (Jaclyn) of Roebuck, SC; fiance, Jennifer Anthony of Spartanburg, SC; grandson, Landry Johnson; and future stepchildren, Brittney Johnson, Brooklyn Marquette, and Brandon Marquette.
Visitation was 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, July 27, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, July 28, 2017, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, by Pastor Mike Royal. Burial was private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Eastside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1850 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
