Linda Lee Van Sickle was born to Richard Lee and Helen J. (Stadem) Van Sickle on August 4, 1943 in Watertown, South Dakota. She grew up in Watertown and Henry, SD and graduated from Henry High School in 1961. She then graduated from Sioux Falls School of Practical Nursing in 1973.

Linda married Edward L. Page on July 14, 1963 in Henry, SD and they lived in Colorado in the 1960's. Linda and Edward moved to Sioux Falls where Linda was employed at McKennan Hospital and Central Plains Clinic. Edward passed away in 1987. After Linda's children left home, she moved to Palmer, Alaska for two years and was employed at the Alaska Womens Clinic. Linda made several moves to Ottumwa, IA and Mitchell, SD before returning to Watertown. She was recently caretaker of Prairie Lakes Caring Club House until illness forced her to quit.

Linda was a member of First United Methodist Church and many of the church teams. Faith was one of her favorite words, for if you have it, all things are possible.

She dearly loved her family and spending time with her five grandchildren and great-grandson and would always tell them to make good choices. She loved people, both meeting and getting to know them and walking her dog, Maggie. Linda treasured the special times spent with her many friends and being the "Birthday Lady" for KXLG Radio.

Linda is survived by her children, Mary Ellen White and Todd Page of Watertown; her mother, Helen Van Sickle of Watertown; her siblings, Gordon (Loydeen) Van Sickle and Marcia (Monty) Montgomery all of Henry, Robert Van Sickle of Watertown, and Lisa (Tim) Zandt of Baltic; five grandchildren, Nicole and Craig Page, Ashlee and Caitlyn Dikoff and Brittny Page; her great grandson, Daniel Page; her nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog and companion, Maggie.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Van Sickle in 2000; an infant brother, Clifton Van Sickle; her sister, Jeanne Seifel in 2000; and her ex-husband, Edward L. Page in 1987.
