Sandy Ferguson, 58, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, July 23, 2017 after a brief battle with breast cancer. She was born in 1959 to Gwen and Carroll Ferguson.

Sandy spent the past 30 years working for the Federal Government, 10 years for IRS, and 20 years for the United States Postal Service. She dedicated her life to her children and family. She was our "Rock" and the family caretaker until her health would no longer allow it. No one went without a roof over their head or food in their stomach if she had anything to do with it. One of her favorite past times was playing the slots out in Wendover. She never won big, but always had a good time. In her younger years, she was rarely seen without a Marlboro in one hand and a Pepsi in the other. As the wisdom of her years set in, that evolved into a vanilla iced coffee, and a Marlboro of course!

Sandy is survived by four sisters Janet, Karen, Nancy, Larane, and one brother Sam, daughters Naomi and Nichole and son Ricky, grandchildren Johnny, Danica, Tyler, Breanne, Hailey and Robert, great-grandchildren, Adalia and Aurora and many nieces and nephews.

Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Carroll and Gwen Ferguson, brothers, Donald, Kevin, James, and Craig Ferguson, son Zachary Johnson, nephew Steve Ferguson, and son-in-law Chet Lazenby.

SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
