Mitchell Edward Scott, 59, of Clinton passed away July 20, 2017.
He was the son of Floy Scott and the late Orr Lewis Scott.
Mr. Scott is survived by his wife Rhonda Scott of Clinton; his son, Justin Scott of Clinton; his daughter, Amy Elizabeth Scott (Joe Wymer) of Clinton; two brothers Walter Scott (Sandra) and Nathan Scott (Becky) both of Joanna; a sister, Phyllis Scott; and a granddaughter, Brooklyn Motes.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 28, 2017 at 6pm at Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Clinton. The family will receive friends Friday before the service from 5 to 6PM.

LAURENS Co., S.C. (WSPA) – A Laurens County family is looking for a man they say went missing over the weekend.
Mitchell Scott, 59, hasn’t been seen since Saturday night when he went missing from Leesville Church Road in Clinton.
Loved ones say Scott is disabled and left without his medication and truck.
He’s been reported missing to the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office.

Laurens County Coroner Nick Nichols has identified the man who was found dead in a wooded area in Laurens County
Nichols said 59-year-old Mitchell Edward Scott was found by a homeowner on Leesville Church Road in a wooded area behind a home on Saturday.
Nichols said a body was found around 6:50 p.m. Saturday after Scott was reported missing several days prior.
Scott died around 10:42 p.m. Thursday and his cause of death has not been determined, Nichols said.
Deputies from the Laurens County Sheriff's Office said a homeowner found a body on his property.
Deputies said they were called to the home on Imperial Drive around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
