Beverly June Hallum, 82 of Rushford, died Friday, July 21, 2017 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.
Bev was born December 2, 1934 in Peterson to Henry and Clarice (Haugen) Tudahl. She attended Rushford Public Schools. On March 12, 1955, she married John Hallum. She worked for many years at the Rushford IGA Bakery. She was a faithful member of Rushford Lutheran Church and sang in the church choir. Bev also belonged to the Bev club where she served as historian; and was a member of the Whalan American Legion Auxiliary.
Bev enjoyed embroidery, record keeping and typing for the Rush Arbor Mink Ranch and getting together with friends. Her family meant so much to her and she loved time spent with them - especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bev is survived by her son, Mike (Ann) of Osseo, WI; daughter, Susan Dvorak of Cambridge, MN; six grandchildren, Anika (Keith) Hestekin of Whitehall, WI, Bowen (Hannah) Hallum of Cadott, WI, Michael Dvorak of Hayfield, MN, Daniel Dvorak of Rochester, MN and Lakin Meineke of Center City, MN; 6 great-grandchildren, Orion, Brantley, Michael, Natalie, Henry, Adilyssa and one more on the way; brother, Milton (Leslie) Tudahl of Spring Hill, TN; sister, Becky (Alan) Hanson of Rushford; sister-in-law, Audrey Tudahl; brother-in-law, Merv Stennes and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1999; parents; brothers and sisters, Delores Zitzman, Betty Wolfe, Curtis Tudahl, Janice Gaustad, Pat Stennes, Liz Tudahl and Cherry Tudahl.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Rushford Lutheran Church with the Reverend Roger Michaelson officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday at Hoff Funeral & Cremation Service - Rushford and one hour prior to the service at church. Bev will be laid to rest at Rushford Lutheran Cemetery.
