Mary E. Tomlinson, 67, passed away July 19, 2017 at her Harrisburg home. She was predeceased by her father, William Sanford. A graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School, she retired from PA Dept. of Public Welfare. As a member of Raw Word Ministries, she served with the Prison Ministry, as Choir Director, Sunday School Teacher, Praise Worship Leader, and she was a Community Youth Activist.
Surviving are her husband, Willie Tomlinson Jr.; mother, Ruth Bass Sanford; daughter, Erica Henry; granddaughters, Amber and Aigner Henry, Aja Lewis; grandsons, Eric "Cotta" and Eugene Henry; siblings, Eddie Sanford, Theresa Holland, Vivian Brown; other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Tomlinson's life will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 26th, at Trinity Church of Harrisburg, 244 Harris Street, Harrisburg, with viewing 10-11 a.m. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Professional services entrusted to Wallace Funeral Directors.
