Hilda E. Klatt was born 10 May 1910 in Loraine Illinois. Her parents were John Klatt and his wife Nora Gerhardt.

Arthur Bocke and Hilda Klatt wed 24 November 1932 at St. Joseph Catholic church in Adams county Illinois.

Hilda Bocke was employed by Harris Corporation. She retired in 1974. Mrs. Bocke belonged to Harris Corporation's Quarter Century Club.

Pastimes for Mrs. Bocke included motorcycle riding. Her first motorcycle, a Harley Davidson, was bought in 1929. When she was 85 she still rode and took her final trip on a motorcycle with her nephew.

Mrs. Bocke received the "Seven Who Care" award from KHQA for her volunteer work. She also volunteered at St. John the Baptist church where she was a member. She belonged to its Ladies of Charity.

Hilda E. Bocke passed away 22 December 2005 at a Quincy, Illinois nursing home. She was predeceased by: Her husband, Arthur Bocke; an infant brother "Johnny" Klatt and a brother Bernard Klatt; also three sisters: Mrs. Lucy Willie, Mrs. Frances Adams, and Mrs. Mary Eva Ohnemus; also a nephew, Dan Ohnemus.

Reverend David Schmidt presided over the funeral, held at St. John the Baptist Catholic church. Interment took place at Calvary cemetery.
