Helen Marie Gnegy was the daughter of the late Virgil R. "John" and Edna R. " Piddle" (Amtower) Jones. Helen was a graduate of Southern High School and Fairmont State University with a business degree in accounting. A restaurateur by trade, she started her career at the Mount Storm Lodge went on to retire after operating the Cee Dee Restaurant for several years. Helen was a member of the Mount Storm Lions Club where she was honored as Member of the Year, recipient of the Leonard Jarrett Award and the Melvin Jones Fellow Award. Helen enjoyed traveling, shopping and was a collector of various things. In her spare time, she would sew and also enjoyed crafting. Helen is survived by her husband, Jesse; two children; nine grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Stem; two grandsons, Michael Geroski and Carl Kitzmiller; and a brother, Raymond "Jock" Jones.
