Wilma Jean Stevens, 78 of Castlewood, VA passed away Monday, July 17, 2017. She was born December 6, 1938 in Castlewood, VA to the late Floyd and Thelma (Minton) Castle. Jean was a member of the First Baptist Church in New Chicago, and enjoyed devoting her time to her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jean will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Jean married Melvin Darius Stevens, who preceded her in death in 1986. Jean is survived by their children: Lisa (Tom) Noak, Vickie (Eric) Miranda, Rick Stevens, Brenda (George) Baughman; grandchildren: Erica Lynn Miranda, Andrea Miranda-Northey, Angela Gregory, Stephanie “Steffie Jo” Coates, Brandon Baughman, Mitchell Baughman, Jacob Baughman; great grandchildren: Sean Miranda-Murphy, Chase Miranda-Northey, Gunner Gregory, Gemma Jean Gregory due fall of 2017, Aiden Baughman, Austin Coates, Aliyah Coates, Neaveh Baughman, Noah Baughman, Liam Baughman, Jayden Baughman, Gracelynn Baughman; and special people in her life: Kathy “Dook”, Rhonda, Lori, and Peggy Sue. She was preceded in death by brothers, Glen Castle and John Castle, and sister, Mary Wright.
