Oralia “Olie” Lowetz, 84, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and proud native Texan, entered into Heaven on Tuesday, July 18, 2017.

Mass of Christian Burial: 9 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 108 NW 4th Ave., Mineral Wells, 76067. Burial: Memory Gardens of the Valley. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday with Rosary beginning at 6 p.m. at White's Funeral Home, 101 NE 4th Ave., Mineral Wells, 76067.

The family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Mineral Wells.

Olie married the love of her life, Lloyd Lowetz, and became a proud Air Force and airline pilot’s wife for many years. She was a loving mother of 6 children and was adamant about everyone attending college. She lived for family gatherings and her cooking was legendary. She was also a huge Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan and watched every game she could. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and fun trips to the casinos. She’ll be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors: Husband of 61 years, Lloyd Lowetz. Children, Cindy Wilde and husband, Benson; Debbie McMillan and husband, Billy; Lindy Newcomb and husband, Jim; Fred Lowetz and wife, Pennie; Mary Lou Lowetz; William Lowetz and wife, Kathy. Grandchildren, Amanda Lyles and husband, Matt; Matt Phillips and wife, Kendra; Ryan McMillan and wife, Kari; Chance Newcomb, Christopher Lowetz and wife, Ana; Chloe Lowetz, Sydney Patrick, Lea Patrick, Kourtney Fountenault and husband, Jeff; Luke Lowetz and Ashton Lowetz. Great-grandchildren, Connor and Madeline Lyles, and Hadley and Lola Phillips. Sisters, Ophelia Rodriguez and Irma Leo; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
