William Fred Kilgus, 90, was a son of Matthew and Emma Sutter Kilgus.

He married Ernestine Feldman on May 23, 1933, in Pontiac. She died May 14, 1937.

He later married Loraine A. Aper on July 31, 1948, in Pekin. She died July 6, 1990, in Pekin.

He later married Wanda L. Sampson Fox on June 24, 1991, in Zolfo Springs, Fla. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Laurel (and Dorie), three stepsons, Paul (and Brenda) Fox, Kenneth (and Ann) Fox and Edward Fox, one stepdaughter, Paula Ann (and Jimmy) Prather eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.

A member of Caterpillar Retirees Club, he worked for Caterpillar Inc. in East Peoria for 38 years, retiring as an assembler in Building KK in 1972.

He was a member of Second Reformed Church in Pekin, where he was a member of the church dart ball league and former vice president of the church softball league.
