MR. TRAMMELL

NEWNAN, Ga. -- Mr. Aaron "Tip" Trammell Sr., 56, of Newnan, formerly of Lanett, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005 at Newnan Hospital in Newnan.

Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday, Aug. 9 at Miracle Ministries Church in Hogansville at 2 p.m. with Pastor Christopher Evans officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Fredonia.

Mr. Trammell is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lillie Trammell of Newnan; three sons, John (Ana) Trammell of New Britain, Conn., Shimron (Katherine) Trammell of Detroit, Mich., and Aaron (Kimberly) Trammell of Goldsboro, N.C.; four brothers, Eugene Trammell Jr. of Lanett, Walter Trammell and Wendell (Joy) Trammell, both of Detroit, and Otis (Julie) Trammell of Madison, Wis.; seven sisters, Jacqueline Trammell of Hartford, Conn., Earnestine (Charlie) Bailey, Martha McCurty, Patricia (Andrew) Jackson, Connie (Jimmy) Hall, Nevelyn Pittman and Susie Hill, all of Lanett; his mother-in-law, Annie Lee Miller of Brooksville, Miss.; seven sisters-in-law, Pecola Sims of Lithonia, Ga., Willie (Clarence) Robinson of Stone Mountain, Ga., Cheri (Saliu) Muhammed of Snellville, Ga., Mary (Vernon) Hall, Cherrie (Martin) Arnold, Annie (Ronnie) Wade and Martha (Ray) Scott, all of Macomb, Mich.; four brothers-in-law, L.C. (Geraldine) Miller of Salina, Kan., Willie Miller, Joe (Glennie) Miller and Johnny (Alisa) Miller, all of Brooksville; four grandchildren, Alyana, Devin, Taylor and Korina Trammell; four godchildren, Tonya Dean, Christopher Robinson and Laniesha and Darzae Owens; and host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Born March 23, 1949 in Chambers County, Mr. Trammell was the son of the late Mary and Eugene Trammell Sr. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary (Jesse) Hooks of Hartford, and three brothers, Alwyn Trammell, Homer Trammell and Hoover Truitt.

The family will receive friends Monday, Aug. 8 from 7 until 8 p.m. at the M.W. Lee Mortuary in West Point.

The remains will lie in state at the church Tuesday, Aug. 9 from noon until the funeral hour. The family may be contacted at 1200 Newnan Crossing Boulevard East, Apt. 260.
