My wonderful Mother-in-law.
Opal Ingle Dawson. She worked in the grocery store/ stores that Papa had - She loved both of her children very much and especially loved her grandchildren. I can remember driving down to Prattville for Sunday dinner with her (boy was she a wonderful cook) & Papa Dawson. She would take David, our son to the grocery store and give him a big bag to fill up with what ever he wanted, our son would come home with more candy than a trick or treater on Halloween. We would let him just fill up on it. But I guess we did something right, after he turned about 10 years old and still to this day doesn't care for candy ! But we all have wonderful memories of Mama Opal !
