Wife of Prime Minister George Grenville. Daughter of Sir William Wyndham, 3rd Bt.; her older brothers were Charles, 2nd Earl of Egremont and Percy Wyndham-O'Brien, 1st and Last Earl of Thomond. Her maternal grandparents were the very wealthy 6th Duke of Somerset, Charles Seymour and his wife the great heiress Lady Elizabeth Percy, daughter of the last Earl of Northumberland.

She had four sons and four daughters with Grenville; her second but eldest surviving son became Marquess of Buckingham. Her youngest son William, Baron Grenville, also became Prime Minister.
