70 year old Cleta Jo Cantrell Horn of Smithville passed away Wednesday night, March 30th at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital.
Ms. Horn was a caregiver & was of the Pentecostal faith.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 4pm from the chapel of Love - Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Glen Chapman will officiate & burial will follow at Mt. Ararat Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, 12-8pm & Saturday, 10am until service time at 4pm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Horn. Father of her children, Ray Donald Murphy. Parents, Gentry Cantrell & Velvo Arnold Thraster. Son, Darrell Wayne Murphy & a grandson, Jerry Lee Estes. 3 brothers, Eddie, Albert & Thomas Cantrell. 6 sisters, Christine Todd, Betty Vanzny, Imogene Crook, Dorothy Roman, Sue Chapman Sanders & Freda Hobbs. Survivors include 3 daughters, Diane & Richard Ervin of Smithville, Joann & Teddy Johnson of Liberty & Darlene Jackson of Smithville. 1 son, David Turner of Smithville. 6 grandchildren & several great grandchildren. Several nieces & nephews also survive.
