Diana Gail Gordon, 68, of Benson, AZ and formerly of Spring Hill, passed away May 5, 2009 in Tucson, AZ. Graveside inurnment was Friday, June 5, 2009 at Spring Hill Cemetery, Spring Hill, KS. Arrangements: Bruce Funeral Home, 913-592-2244. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diana Gordon Memorial Fund.
Diana was born May 12, 1940 in Lafayette, Indiana to Kenneth and Kathlene Hardesty Mitchell. She was a secretary for the Johnson County Health Department in Olathe and retired in 2000. Diana moved to Arizona a year ago. She enjoyed crocheting and her dog Pootie. Diana loved her family dearly and she will be missed so very much by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents and children Jeff Konning and Julie Gies. Diana is survived by her son Terry Gordon of Osawatomie, KS; daughters Tami Kamigawachi of Fresno, CA and Brandi Conn of Olathe; sisters Daphne Sandefur of Sierra Vista, AZ and Dixie Biggs of Lafayette IN; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
