RALEIGH — Linda Jane Lamm Haas, 67, passed away June 23, 2015. A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Pkwy., Wilson.

The family will receive friends 10 – 10:45 a.m. Friday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Linda was born to the late Roy Woodrow Lamm and Ivenia Wells Lamm Hathaway. She was the stepdaughter to Charles Glenn Hathaway of Spring Hope for 53 years. Linda graduated from Spring Hope High School, Weaver Air Line School, and Real Estate School. She and her husband opened and operated Haas and Spino Insurance for 21 years. Linda's main focus in life was her unconditional love of her family, which she demonstrated in many ways over the years. That love spilled over beyond her family to the people drawn to her engaging personality.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Larry Haas; and her daughter, Jacque Woodring, and husband, Eric, and their daughter, Juliet Rose, of San Antonio, Texas; a stepson, Steve Haas of Dallas, Texas; her parents, Ivenia and Charles Hathaway; her younger brothers, Willis Lamm, and his wife, Lucy, and Mike Lamm, all of Charleston, South Carolina; nephews, Brent, and his wife, Kim, and Jay; a niece, Jennifer, and her husband, Rodney; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family expresses its deepest gratitude for the excellent care, compassion, and love provided by Duke Raleigh's Dr. Jennifer Garst, her staff, and the nurses in the Infusion Center. They were truly blessed to have found this excellent team.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Duke Raleigh Cancer Center, 3404 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, NC 27609.
