LAWTON, Okla.
Matthew James OMatt' Bond, 12, died March 22 at Lawton Hospital. He was born Aug. 5, 1988, in Great Bend, the son of Barry and Janie Bond. He attended Central Junior High School in Lawton. He was a resident of Lawton, coming from Kentucky. Bond was a member of Dayspring Community Church of Lawton and was a Cub Scout. He played football, soccer and track while being involved in leadership courses at Taft Academy and being a member of
the Rifle Drill Team, all in Lawton.

Survivors include his parents of the home; one brother, Jeremiah Bond of the home;
grandparents, Dennis E. Bond of Missouri, Shirley Sanders of Colorado, James E. and Betty J. West of Fresno, Calif.; and two great-grandmothers, Lucille Nichols of St. John and Marjorie McVey of Larned.

Funeral: Monday at Frontier Chapel Center at Fort Sill in Lawton, with the Rev. Chris Stephens officiating.
Burial: Post Cemetery at Fort Sill.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Becker Funeral Home in Lawton.
