Graveside services for Paul Baldwin, 84, of Tyler will be held Friday, July 14, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Paul Saylors officiating. Mr. Baldwin passed away Tuesday, July 11 in Tyler. Services are under the direction of Jackson's Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home in Tyler.
Paul Thomas Baldwin was born to the late Shirley Thomas and Pauline Baldwin on April 15, 1933 in Lindale. He owned and operated Paul Baldwin Electric Company, Inc. for over 40 years. Paul was a past-President of the Tyler Civitan Club and past-President of the Tyler Electrical Board. Paul served in the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Ord, CA, Fort Benning, GA, and Ladd Air Force Base in Fairbanks Alaska until he was honorably discharged in 1957. Paul was of the Baptist faith. He loved the outdoors enjoying golf, hunting, fishing and baseball.
Paul is survived by his wife of 57 years, Martha Baldwin; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Diane Baldwin, Kelly and Laura Baldwin and Darren and Jennifer Baldwin; daughter and son-in-law Marianne and Larry Hayes; sisters Martha Sulser, Peggy McFarland; brother Ross Baldwin; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
