NEPHI - Funeral services for Mrs. Rose McPherson Card, 78, will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in Nephi Third LDS Ward Chapel by Thomas D. Davis, bishop. Burial will be in Vine Bluff Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Anderson Funeral Home this evening and at the family home Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of services.

Mrs. Card died in a Provo rest home Monday after a lingering illness.

She was born in Nephi, June 8, 1874, a daughter of James R. and Jane Ollerton McPherson. She was married to Osmond Card of Ontario, Canada, July 20, 1903. Mr. Card died several years ago. Her only son also preceded her in death.

She followed the occupation of nursing.

Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Seth, Heber, Jane, Stella, and Lula McPherson, all of Nephi; Mrs. Elizabeth Sowby, Kaysville, and Mrs. Ruby Bigler, Eureka.
