Baldwyn - Sandra Maxine McGill, 64, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the NMMC Hospice Unit. Maxine was born to Talmadge D. "Tal" and Annie V. (Melton) Wages on February 01, 1953. She was employed in the logging and construction industry as parts manager until her retirement. To her loyal parts customers she was affectionately known as Mac. Maxine was a born again Christian and a member of Guntown Baptist Church, serving as treasurer until her health failed.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Larry Dunlap and Bro. Bobby Robbins officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Annie Vee Wages Greer; two daughters, Sandie Cox (Shane) and Christie McGill; Grandchildren, Ty Cox and Landyn McGill; Sister, Willodean Burchfield (Carey Dye); special cousin, Sue Greer (Reuben) and father of her children, Doug McGill.
She is preceded in death by her father, Tal Wages and brother-in-law, Lois Burchfield.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 5:00 – 8:00.
