Bro. Dennis Wood officiated with burial in Young Bend Cemetery.
Mrs. Poss passed away Thursday, June 24, 2004 at NHC Healthcare Center in Smithville, TN.
She was a retired factory worker and a member of Mt. View The Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents: William Giles and Ethel Irene Humphrey Driver; husbands: John Walter Cantrell, and Hershell Poss; son-n-law, Cordell Fowlkes; two brothers, Monroe Driver and Frank Driver and two sisters, Ruby Gooch and Louella Cantrell.
She is survived by her daughters, John Ann Poss and husband, Glenn and Faye Fowlkes both of Smithville; five grandchildren; Rita Hooper, Darrell Poss, Kristie Fowlkes daughtery and Jay Fowlkes all of Smithville; Sherri Parman of Hendersonville; eight great-grandchildren; McKayla, McKenzie and Gatlin Daughtery, Tiffany and Todd Kearny, Jessicia Hooper, Cody Allen and John Logan Poss.
Serving as pallbearers were Mark, Driver, Kenneth Cantrell, Darrell Poss, Bill Daughtery, Jay Fowlkes, Tommy Gooch & Jerry Gooch.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
