Linda K. Spence Collins, age 67, of Little York, Illinois; passed away at 2:08 am on July 8, 2017 at Unity Point Trinity of Rock Island, IL. She was born on January 1, 1950 and is the daughter of Chester L. and Shirley A. Brown Spence. She was raised in Little York, IL where she attended local schools and graduated from Yorkwood High School with the class of 1968. After her schooling, she was employed at Bowman Shoe Store in Monmouth for several years. She then worked as a receptionist for Cycle Center in Galesburg for a number of years. Linda also operated the Sweetwater Saloon in Little York, IL for a number of years before moving to Midland, Texas where she worked as a mortgage processor until her retirement. In more recent years Linda returned to the are to care for her mother. She enjoyed crocheting and while in Midland, was involved with the Make a Wish Foundation rodeo. Linda was a hard working women who did her best to help all she could. She loved watching people have a good time and enjoyed having a good time herself. She loved going to the beach and will be dearly missed by all.
She is preceded in her death by her parents, one sister,Trudy and one brother, Rick.
