CALDWELL-- Funeral services for Mr. Edwin Carl Peters, 82 of Caldwell, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home chapel, with burial following in the Caldwell Masonic Cemetery. Rev. Elroy Haveriah, pastor of the Elizabeth Lutheran Church, will officiate.
Mr. Peters died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 11, 1896, at Carmine.
He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Hulda Peters of Caldwell; three sons, Delwin D Peters, Austin, Weldon W Peters of Richardson and Glenn E. Peters of Bryan; one daughter, Mrs. Erma Turrentine of Garland; two brothers, Ernest H. Peters of Caldwell and Eloo J P. Peters of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Perkins of Houston and Mrs. Alma Hendrix of Dallas; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
