Cariel Lorn Goodman was born in Myrick, Johnston, Oklahoma to Frank Cleveland and Minnie Belle Gibson Goodman, On 7 June 1917. He went to school and was raised in and around Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The family moved to Carter County, where he met and married Mary Magdalene Skaggs.
Cariel and Mary had two sons, in their marriage. Calvin Bruce (25 Jul 1941 - 02 Sep 2012) and Waylin Orville Goodman (27 Feb - ). The family lived in Burney, Love, Oklahoma, Wilson, Carter, Oklahoma, and Lawton, Commanche,Oklahoma. In the mid 1940's they moved and settled in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Cariel was a fast learner and was able to master Milling and other Machines, used in manufacturing. He worked in Machine manufacturing and maintenance until the early 1950's when he moved his family to Los Angles, California, still working as a machinist. Three years later he moved his family back to Oklahoma City, where he went to Night School and earned a Boilerman's License, and became a Maintenance Man for Twin Hills Golf and Country Club, then the American General Life Insurance Building.
Cariel moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma by himself and went into retirement. He spent the rest of his life living and sharing with his youngest brother, Albert Doil Goodman. He died of Congestive Heart Failure on 9 Oct 1990.
