Dennis G. Waters, age 65, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids.
Memorial services for Dennis will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday July 10, 2017 at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Pastor Connie Knutson will officiate the service. The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday at the funeral home from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Restlawn Memorial Park in Wisconsin Rapids.
Dennis was born April 1, 1952 in Wisconsin Rapids to Glen and Tillie (Hopp) Waters. Dennis married Sharon Little on December 28, 1973. She preceded him in death on September 24, 2012. He then married Kathy M. Irwin on October 22, 2015 in Wood County. Dennis worked at Domtar for 42 years as a recovery boiler operator, retiring in February of 2013.
Dennis enjoyed fishing, was a member of the North American Fishing Club, hunting, watching the Green Bay Packers and was a car enthusiast.
Dennis is survived by his wife Kathy, sons Brian Waters and Jeremy Keith; 5 grandchildren Madelline Waters, Cameron Waters, Skyla Liebe, Adalyn Liebe and Avery Jensen; step-children Anitya Marlowe, April Behrendt and TJ Liebe; brother Richard (Rita) Waters; nieces and nephews Jeff Waters, Paul Waters, Jennifer (Waters) Plemon, Steve Waters, Shane Siegel, Sarah Siegel and Tina (Little) Rajski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sharon, sister Katie Waters, brother Dan Waters and son Brad Lee Meyers.
