James died unexpectedly, survived by his spouse of 26 years, and no children. He was the eldest son of Marguerite and Marion J. Bradsberry, Sr. He graduated from Eureka High School and immediately joined the U.S.Navy to work on nuclear submarines. He earned the rank of PO1 and served honorably 20 years in the U.S. Navy aboard submarines, the Sturgeon and Francis Scott Key were two. He continued to maintenance submarines as a contractor in retirement. His funeral mass was held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Goose Creek, SC. He was cremated the same day and is awaiting internment. He is greatly missed.
