Funeral services for Johnny Timothy Cantrell, age 77, of Smithville,were held Wednesday November 24, 2004 at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Bro. Mark Pafford and Bro. Buddy Pope officiated with burial following at Whorton Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Cantrell passed away Sunday, November 21, 2004 at his reidence. He was retired from the DeKalb COunty Highway Dept. He was a Member of the Masonic Lodge and an Elder at Banks Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Herman Lee Cantrell and Nancy Candance Jones Cantrell, three brothers, Clyde, Robert J., and Howard Cantrell, two sisters, Clara Mai Cantrell Miller and Ima Jo cantrell Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Cantrell, daughter, Gail Poss both of Smithville, one grndaughter, Michelle Sobel and her husband Clifton Jr., of Murfreesboro, one sister-in-law, Josephine Cantrell of Smithville.
Serving as pallbeareres were Larry, Gary, Paul Howard and Kenneth Cantrell, Canton Jones and Tommy Culwell

Love Cantrell Funeral Home of Smithville was in charge of arrangements.
