Mrs. Christine Franklin Coggins, 89, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.
Funeral services for Mrs. Coggins will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, July 6, at South Luverne Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Driggers officiating.
Interment will follow in Luverne Emmaus Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing.
Mrs. Coggins was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Robert Percer Coggins, three great-grandchildren, Alexa & Olivia Holzman and Maximus Percy Oswalt, father, Donald R. Franklin, and her mother and stepfather, Emma Jones and Hubert Qualls.
She is survived by her four sons, Ronald W. Coggins, David E. (Dianne) Coggins, Clark (Debi) Coggins, and Terry W. (Michael Parks) Coggins,
Six grandchildren, Mark (Melissa) Coggins, Jason (Laura) Coggins, Tracy Coggins Holzman, Summer Coggins (Lee) Oswalt, Joshua (Janie) Coggins, Andrew (Kery) Coggins,
Twelve great-grandchildren, Ian & Sean Coggins, Jackson Clark, & Connor Holzman, Emily, Jackson Bradley, & Lucas Oswalt, Ava & Will Coggins, and Tucker, Carter, & Everly Coggins, and sister, Ann Harrison.
Active pallbearers will be Mark Coggins, Jason Coggins, Joshua Coggins, Andrew Coggins, Ian Coggins, and Sean Coggins.
The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1 – 2pm.
