Mr. Adams was born September 1, 1960 in Ferriday, LA and passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017. He was a graduate of Ouachita Parish High School and Northeast Louisiana University (currently ULM). James was a computer technician for the Ouachita Parish School System and a member of North Monroe Baptist Church.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Lane Adams; father, Joseph Adams; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marge and Charles Lane.
Survivors include his children, Cassady Lane Adams and James Roy “Chip” Adams, II; mother, Judith Adams; sister, Janna Adams Currie and husband Don of Memphis, TN; brother, Jeffrey Adams of Alexandria, LA; nephews, Aaron, Christian, Kyle and Zachary Adams, and Bradley Currie.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 until service time at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice.
