Lorraine was a native of Minnesota. She was the wife of Orson Thayne Acord, a prominent buisnessman. Both were found bound with rope and shot to death at their residence at 4215 West 4100 South. Funeral Services were held on March 2, 1980 at the Cathedral Of The Madeline. A Viewing was held at the Memorial Mortuary on March 1, 1980 from 5-8 P.M. Graveside Services followed the funeral services at Valley View Memorial Park where she was buried just yards away from her home.
