Karen Vipperman Almany, age 62, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born December 12, 1954 in Salem, Va. Karen was a member of Central Baptist Church in Bristol, Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Ricky Almany Sr.; her father, Wayne Vipperman; and nephew, Christopher Bradford.
She is survived by her daughters, Amanda Tobey, Ami Taylor and husband John; sons, Gary Almany Jr., Aaron Tobey and wife Amy, John Almany and wife Whitney; mother, Josephine Vipperman; grandchildren, Bobby, Elizabeth, Avery, Owen, Adilynne, Alex, Brittnee, Emilee “Mommalee”, John “Dodee”, and Tobey “Coot”; sister, Patricia Bradford and husband David; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mrs. Almany will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Rex Carter officiating.
The committal service and interment at High Point Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be friends and members of the family.
