Peggy R Atkinson, 87, of Manchester, Ohio died Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at her home. She was born February 3, 1930 to the late Neil and Lillian (Shelton) Howell.
She was a former Cook at the Moyer's Winery and worked at the Wald's Mfg Factory.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmie Atkinson, and her children: Gary Rolph, Parish Rolph, and Alecia Trotter, and her brothers: Junior Howell and Bill Howell.
She is survived by her children: Connie (Lynn) Elbin of Navarre, FL, Debbie Butler of Sandusky, OH, Donna (Wayne) Ball of West Union, OH, Rhonda Hammonds of Manchester, OH, Jody Rolph of Manchester, OH, Carla (Jim) Pollit of Maysville, KY, Troy "Hunky" Rolph of Manchester, OH, and Nika (Joe) Young of Manchester, OH, her step children: Donald Atkinson of Lancaster, SC, Becky Lewis of Columbia, SC, Gail Atkinson of Hendersonville, SC, and Jamie Atkinson, Jr of Chesterfield, SC, her brothers: Gene (Joyce) Howell of Columbus, OH, and Bob Howell of TN, many grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 3 at Wilson Home for Funerals. Rev Dale Little will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Manchester Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
