Solomon Weimer aged about 68 years died at his home near Chapman Run, Monroe township, Monday morning Feb. 11, after a lingering illness. His funeral took place at Pleasant Union church Wednesday morning. He leaves his widow who was Elizabeth Fletcher, daughter of the late Daniel and Lydia Fletcher and a large family of children. He also leaves one surviving brother, Bernard Weimer, near Cumberland and one sister, Mrs. David Conner, in Monroe. The following brothers and sister preceded him to the grave: Joseph, John S. and Mrs. Nancy Fletcher. The latter lived near Pratt, Maryland. Deceased was a farmer.
