Jeannie Kay Davis, 75, of McDermott, Ohio, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 26, 2017 at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born January 24, 1942, in Portsmouth, daughter of the late Albert J. and Vina Coldiron Ralston. On July 12, 1969, Jeannie was united in marriage to Harold Alva Davis who preceded her in death on February 3, 2015. Surviving are her four children; 22 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. One brother of Dayton, Ohio and one sister of Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to her parents and husband, Jeannie was preceded in death by four sons, Harold D., Marwin, Mark and Michael Davis, a daughter, Mary Davis Poole, two grandsons, Payton Davis and Eric Rowe, a son-in-law, Woody Rowe, four brothers, Ralph, Fred , Pete and Russell Ralston, and three sisters, Margie Burr, Anna Spires and Marie Eulett.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway, Ohio with Pastor Curtis Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Scioto Burial Park, McDermott. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
