She married the late Emmitt Earl Watson and together they raised five children. She loved to go for rides, especially in the Hill Country and fishing and crabbing in Matagorda or Palacios.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter Polly Ahr; son Earl Watson; sisters Merle Reynolds and Marie Watson; and brothers Verlin Frankum, Theo Frankum, Bruce Frankum, Gene Frankum, Ray Frankum, D.A. Frankum, Ben Frankum, Douglas Frankum and Biddy Frankum.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2017, from 1-3 p.m. at Wharton Funeral Home with a Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Reverend Mickey Reynolds will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
