Katherine Bly Perry, 91, of Winchester, Virginia, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Perry was born in 1922 in Frederick County, Virginia , the daughter of the late Shelton and Ursula Bly. She was a graduate of John H. Handley High School, Class of 1939. Mrs. Perry was a homemaker and loved to play golf as well as garden. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her family. Mrs. Perry was a member of Market Street United Methodist Church in Winchester.

She married Maurice W. "Mickey" Perry on April 13, 1940, in Stephens City, Virginia. He Preceded her in death on January 17, 2004.

Surviving are her four children, Stuart Michael Perry Ii and wife, Rosalie of Winchester, Barbara Ann Perry of Escatawpa, Mississippi, Vicky Perry of Winchester, Dennis Wayne Perry and wife Chris of Winchester, Virginia; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by 11 siblings.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, Reverend Robert Morris officiting. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be Richie Diehl, Stuart Perry, III, Clay Perry, Mickey Perry, Jay Perry and Brandon Deihl.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Suite 405, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
