Timothy Eugene Haines, 68, of Elk City, Oklahoma, was born on January 1, 1949 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Robert Eugene and Jolene (Creach) Haines. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Clinton Regional Hospital, Clinton, Oklahoma.

He graduated from Taft High School in Taft, California class of 1963. Tim enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, driving around the back roads of Oklahoma with his friends while listening to music. He spent many hours driving his stockcar but those hours did not compare to the hours he loved spending with his family and friends. Like the hours he spent farming with Larry and Scott Grabeal. Tim worked alongside his Dad and brothers at Haines Wrecker Service in Elk City from 1971 till his retirement in 1997.

Cherishing his memory are his sons, Shane Haines of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; Robert Warren Haines of Hammon, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Taylor DeNay Haines of Edmond, Oklahoma, Jessie Lea Haines of Elk City, Oklahoma, Andrew Shane Haines of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Brayden Freeman of Arkansas; one uncle, Jerry Haines of Arizona; the Creach side of the family that he held close to his heart and numerous other loving family members.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Trina Haines; parents, Bob and Jo Haines; sister, Mary Branham; brother, David Haines.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Martin-Dugger Funeral Home, Elk City, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Oklahoma.
