Son of Orris Marion Tharp and Myrtle Mae Putney.
Oldest of four brothers (Glenn, George Arlo, & Nathan) Served as a Private in WW I within Company B, 116th Field Signal Battalion of Nebraska. Was married only once; a brief marriage to Stella Feather. Their union ended in Divorce. Lived most of his adult life with his Brother and Sister-In-Law - George Arlo Tharp and Daisy Mae Blair Tharp of Seattle, WA, and is buried next to this same brother.
