GLORIA ANN CROSS THE ARCADIAN MAY 2017;
Arcadia, FL passed away May 12th, 2017. Gloria Ann was born in Nashua, Iowa to the late; Carl E. Mulling & Eva Angeline Wood.
After her brother was stationed in Norfolk, VA. she moved to take care of her niece & nephew and ended up falling in love with Lance Corporal Horace Cross. They married June 19th, 1959 & moved to Arcadia, FL. In 961. Gloria worked at DMH for many years as a medical secretary for Dr. Robert Hall of the radiology department. During her spare time, Gloria enjoyed trying her luck in the casinos, crocheting, sewing, gardening and babysitting. Gloria loved decorating for the holidays and cooking for her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother with a quick wit and sharp tongue. Gloria, loved her family with all of her heart, her presence will be deeply missed.
Gloria Cross is survived by her children; Douglas (Kathy) Cross, David (Jenny) Cross, Michelle (Paul) Cox, Danny Cross, Darren Cross (Jo Rowan) Janette & Harold Franz, Sisters; Arlene (Victor) Lahr, & Gerry Gunther.
Grandchildren; Stephen Cross, Caden Cross, Whitney Cross, Kayla Cross, Ryan Hipp, Sara Hipp, Dalton Cross, Clint Cross & Harley Cross.
Great Grandchildren; Aria Hipp & Chloe Cross.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, son; Michael Carl Cross, Brother Carl F. Mulling, Jr., Sister-LaVonne Zimmerman & husband of 53 years Horace Cross, Jr.
Visitation was held May 17th, 2017 Pine Level United Methodist Church. Burial was at Joshua Creek.
