Rebecca Ream, 74, of Ephrata, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2005 at her residence. She was born in Rome, PA (now Lititz) on January 14, 1931, daughter of the late Clarence and Eva Loose. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Parke Ream; twin brothers, Marlin and Lavern; brother, Robert and sister, Evelyn Iwanowski. She was a member of the Lancaster County Rotary and was retired from the Holiday Inn, Lancaster. She is survived by her four children, Michael Ream of Aldan, Sandra Andes wife of Robert of Ephrata, Lynn Montgomery, wife of Hugh of Lititz and Jeffrey Ream and his companion, Susan Mendez of Ephrata; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arthur Loose, husband of Anna of Akron, Clarence Loose of Lititz and Richard Loose, husband of Elizabeth of Burnville; two sister, Gloria Varner, wife of John of Schoeneck and Loretta Davidson of Akron. A memorial service will be held at Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Route 272, Akron, Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 9:30 AM with Dr. Donald W. Metz officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Arrangements under the direction of Auer Memorial Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Harrisburg.
