Daughter of James William Lampton and Mary Elizabeth Aders. Lola was born Alice Lampkins and at some time it appears she changed her name to Lola Grace. It doesn't appear Lola was a twin. She is enumerated on the 1910 census in Perry County, Indiana as "Viola" age 2, along with siblings Edith age 5, Everett age 7, John age 12 and mother Lizzie Southwood age 28. Lizzie is listed as widowed.

Name spelled Lampton, Lampkins, Lamkin and Lampkin.
Lamkins is on death certificate.

Married to Charles Franklin King.
They were the parents of at least five children:

Dolly Ailene King born. September 27, 1927 in Troy Indiana.
Linda King
Charles Chester and Nancy Ester King, TWINS, born November 19, 1931 at home in Birdseye Indiana. Their birth dates change from November 20 to November 19, 1931. The birth certificates state no one was in attendance when the twins were born. Nancy was born first and Charles Jr was born 2nd.

Mrs. Lola King, 55, of Grandview, died Sunday. Among survivors are a sister, Mrs. Edith Elvard and a brother, John Lampkins, both of Evansville.
