Marlon Jerell Johnson, 29, of 4809 N. Glen Court died Saturday, March 30, 2002, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.

Born April 24, 1972, in Peoria to Keith and Renetta Johnson Barnes, he married E. Annette Taylor on Oct. 1, 1994, in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are his father of Atlanta, Ga., his mother Renetta Watts of Peoria; his stepfather, Standford Williams Sr. of Peoria; two daughters, Taylor Johnson and Parker Johnson, both of Peoria; six brothers, Corey Pope of Champaign, Shadrone Williams and Standford (and Norine) Williams, all of Peoria, Raymone Barnes and Treymone Barnes, both of Houston, Texas, and Marcus Barnes of Nashville, Tenn.; three sisters, Shameka Watts of St. Louis, Mo., Jameicka Barnes of Houston and Lena Barnes of Nashville; and his grandparents, William and Joan Jones of Peoria, and Malcolm and Margie Barnes of Houston.

He worked for Central Illinois Light Co. for seven years.

Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery.
