Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday, February 3, 2017 at the Hamilton Crossroads Church of Christ (Pike County) with Minister Doug Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing.
The family will receive friends at the church on Friday beginning at 10:00am and continuing until service time.
Mrs. Roberts was born July 29, 1938 in Elmore County, Alabama to the late Earl Homer and Nell Goodwin Miller.
She was a member of Liberty Church of Christ in Elba.
She was Miss Alabama Christian in 1956 which was the same year she graduated from Alabama Christian Academy in Montgomery.
Being the heart of the family, she loved and enjoyed the time she was able to spend with her family as well as enjoying reading and gardening.
Her gift of joy, her sweet spirit and beautiful smile will never be forgotten.
Her son, Neal Roberts preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Rex Roberts, Elba, Al,
2 daughters: Lynn Heaton (Steve), Atlanta, GA, Leigh Ledlow (Chris), Norfolk, VA,
2 sons: Jay Roberts (Kerry), Montgomery, AL, Mark Roberts (Emily), Birmingham, AL,
2 sisters: Betty Grace Leopard (Gary), Trussville, AL, Jane Miller, Pinson, AL,
5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
