DALE E. BURNHAM
WANATAH, IN -- Dale E. Burnham, 77, died Monday, February 12, 2007 at St. Anthony Hospital, Michigan City, Indiana. He was born January 26, 1930 in Highmore, South Dakota to the late Forrest and Mary (Berry) Burnham. On June 23, 1930, in Hamlet, Indiana, he married Lois Saylor. She died in January 2003.
Mr. Burnham was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Davis Wesleyan Church, S.O.A.R., the National Rifle Association and the Hanna American Legion.
He is survived by two daughters: Susan (Terry) Garner of Hanna, Indiana and Nancy (Kevin) Redweik of Wanatah; two sons: Gary (Connie) of Michigan City and Roger of Hanna; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three brothers: Kenneth of Kansas, Robert of South Dakota and his twin, Dean of Arizona. He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Services were held Thursday, February 15 at the Davis Wesleyan Church, with Pastor Charles Neace officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hanna Cemetery Association, 12844 S. 300 West, Hanna, IN, 46340.
Arrangements were made by Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel.
