Son of Samuel Jay Terry and Maria Jane Terry, husband of Alice M. Hammond, whom he married on October 14, 1880 in Port Jefferson, NY, and father of Raymond Henry, Percy Hollis, Kenneth Samuel and Alice Marie Terry.

Husband of Mary Emma Rogers, whom he married on January 30, 1940 in Patchogue, NY.

Estate - Hollis H. Terry, of Terryville, who died October 22, left an estate valued at about $4,000in personal property and about $3,000 in realty. The Cedar Hill Cemetery is bequeathed $300 in trust, income to be used for the upkeep of plot; Raymond H. Terry, son, Hollywood, Fla., $200; Perry H. Terry, Freeport, and Kenneth S. Terry, Mineola, sons, $100 each; Mary E. Terry, widow, the use of the testator's home property during her lifetime and upon her death the homestead and the farm property are given to Alice M. Terry, daughter, Terryville, and she also receives the residuary estate. The son Kenneth is named executor.
