HARRIS MARTIN
Age 85, on Friday, June 23, 2017, peacefully with his family at his side. Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Helene Harris; beloved father of Julie, Jeffrey (Beverly) and Lennard Harris; grandfather of Timothy and Margo Harris; son of the late Mildred and Harry Harris; brother of the late Abe Harris. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

Born in the Hill District, Martin was a graduate of Schenley High School. He served as a Corporal in the Army and was a Korean War veteran stationed south of Soo Wan with the 121st Airborne Division, 622 Engineering Outfit Supply. He was the recipient of the Sharp Shooter medal.

Martin was a retired United States postal worker with over 30 years of service. He was a die-hard Steelers fan.

Services at RALPH SCHUGAR CHAPEL, INC., 5509 Centre Avenue, Shadyside on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at 12 Noon. Visitation one hour prior to services (11 a.m. - 12 Noon). Interment New Light Cemetery.
