Lucille Bishop Fulgham, 89, passed away at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007. Mrs. Fulgham was a retired teller at the National Bank of Commerce of Maben, a member of Double Springs Baptist Church, a member of the Eastern Star and a graduate of Wood Junior College.
The funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Double Springs Baptist Church. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Maben and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Double Springs Baptist Church. Burial will in the Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The services will be officiated by the Rev. Randle Poss and the Rev. John Foles.
Mrs. Fulgham is survived by her niece, Glenda and Bill Palmer; brother, Wyman and Fran Bishop and sister-in-law, Laura Bishop, all of Maben. She was preceded in death by her husband, Quinton Fulgham; parents, Wyman and Jennie Bishop; brother, Rupert Bishop and and nephew, Kenny Bishop.
Memorials may be made to The Camp of the Rising Son in French Camp and the Palmer Children's Home in Columbus.
