DIED

Arthur, infant son of G.W. and Fannie P. Houx, was Born February 8, 1873, and died Nov. 27, 1873.

Little Arthur, fare-thee-well!
How brief our union here!
Alone, yet not alone, we dewll;
Our trails how severe.

Stern, cruel monster, tou has gained
Another trophy bright;
Thou hast our lovely Arthur slain--
Our fondest hopes to blight.

Return, bright star of hope, and cheer
These aching hearts of ours;
Our gentle ray, may check these tears,
And we relief may find.

Parents, cheer up and onward press,
Your trails soon shall cease,
And you with little Arthur rest.
Sale in the land of peace.

Now, little Arthur, fare-thee-well--
With angels spend thy flight,
Together we shall shortly dwell,
In fields of endless light.
